SUMMARY:Arvada West Spring Concert
DESCRIPTION:The Arvada West Choral Music program has established itself as having one the premiere programs in the United States with an invitation to perform at the 2017 National ACDA Conference in Minneapolis.  Numerous choirs have also been selected to perform at CMEA conferences in the past several years (the top state honor for high school ensembles) – including 10 appearances since 2009. The choirs also consistently receive straight “Superior” ratings at festivals and competitions. \nAWest choirs have performed in numerous cities and prestigious venues across the United States\, including Los Angeles\, New York City (Carnegie Hall)\, Washington\, D.C. (Kennedy Center)\, and Chicago (Orchestra Hall) – and have traveled internationally\, performing High Mass at the Basilicas of St. Peter’s Rome and St. Mark’s Venice.

DESCRIPTION:This recital is an all Spanish Recital with performances from our own\nJohn Seesholtz\, baritone section leader\, and singers from all over the United\nStates that have studied with Dr. Seesholtz at CU Boulder. \nThis benefit recital is for the Canciones Project\, a project fiscally sponsored\nby the non-profit\, Art Song Colorado. The project is working to build a\ndatabase and academic text book that will help change the way Latin\nAmerican music is studied and performed through the world.
