La Puente Trip

Each summer Central Presbyterian travels to the San Luis Valley to partner with La Puente, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization providing a safety net of services where individuals and families get what they need to stabilize, heal, and ultimately thrive. With the objective of meeting the needs of the homeless and community members in crisis, La Puente’s services both restore and strengthen people’s lives, so that they can live independently, with dignity.

La Puente has programs designed to meet the needs of families and individuals in the San Luis valley.
There is a building project, children's program (PALS), homeless shelter cooking opportunities, gardening
projects, thrift store opportunities, and rural outreach. This is an intergenerational mission trip with past
