Opera Colorado presents
The Gift of the Magi
December 5 at 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Make a little room for opera in your holiday traditions! This December, gather the people you love and join Opera Colorado for our first-ever holiday production. The Gift of the Magi brings O. Henry’s beloved story to life through music, following a young couple determined to make Christmas special for each other, even when money is tight.
Warm, heartfelt, and filled with the spirit of the season, this intimate opera is a story of love, sacrifice, and the lengths we’ll go for the people who matter most. Bring the whole family and share a holiday tale that reminds us where the true riches of the season can be found.
Composer David Conte
Librettist Nicholas Giardini
Based on the story by O. Henry
